Happy Mother's Day

I hope everyone had as great a day as I did. RJ and I took my mother and Tom out to eat at Prairie Band Casino. We had a great time. Tom and I won, Mom and RJ lost. I guess that balances things out. After we left Prairie Band, RJ and I went shopping with my winnings. He helped me pick out something to plant in our yard. I wanted something that will eventually hide our gas line. I think we did quite well. What do you think?

It is to grow to be 3 feet high and 3 feet wide. The black pole at the top of the picture is the gas line to our home. I hope this will grow to cover the gas line. I don't think I have ever grown roses but a lady at Lowes said that this kind was very easy. I have a 1 year guarantee. Will see what happens. But I think it is very nice.

This is what the Easter bunny left me on Easter while I was at work. It is what I always wanted. If you know me that is what we say when we get something new. It is a gas stove with sealed burners, broiler in the top of the oven, drawer on the bottom for pans and a self-cleaning oven. Never had a oven chime when it got to the preset temperature. Let us see if this will help my cooking. I hope so. I need all the help that I can get. Am still working on the walls very, very slowly. I hope to have the walls done by the end of the month so we can get our carpet. Have a great day.
