On our own

If anyone knows me, this is not what I would usually do (to go out without a destination). After breakfast with the gang and Target, RJ and I went for a walk.

Steep escalator on the way down to the subway.

At the end of the walk, we took the subway and the train to the beach. I found a new love, the beach. We got to walk in the sand and pick up sea shells.

According to everyone we talked to, real estate around here is far above our price range.  However, we might be able to swing this fixer-upper beach castle.

Here is RJ enjoying the sand, surf and sun. This is the first time we have been to the beach and the sun was shining. It was great.

On the way home we stopped by Fenway Park. This is the backside of the green monster. We did not go to the front because there was a game that was about to start and it was very crowded.

This is the crowd going to the game.  We were just trying to go back the other way after photographing the outside of the stadium.  The Yankees and the Red Sox were playing a double-header due to being rained out yesterday.

We did see some history today.

This is the oldest house in Cambridge.  I still don't think we can afford it.
